Kiss of Steel
Looks interesting. It's from the guys behind "Ready or Not" and the "10/31/98" segment on "V/H/S/" (and to a lesser extent, "Devils Due")
Maybe fifth time is the charm to finally kill one of their three main characters.
Arquette looks like he’s doing good work from the trailer. His trailer bits looked better to me than anything else.![]()
Trailer looks good. Glad they were able to find a new angle to work the franchise without beating a dead horse.

I wrote about it in the horror thread but I agree.
This actually might be the best of the sequels. Just really impressed with it. Also probably the most violent-this thing gets straight up vicious at times.
This. It really follows the original Scream in multiple ways (with some pretty clever twists on similar scenes) but at its best it's surprisingly gory with some nasty full-on weapon stab shots visually and works much like the 1st Scream: It's a bit of a satire of the original Scream e.g. little things like the opening scene answerer's favorite movie is The Babadook but also stands really well on its own as a straight-up who's the killer? horror movie, which the sequels usually lacked.

She should have died several movies ago.I don't have a ton of interest in Scream without Sidney, but maybe it's time for an all new cast?

Neve Campbell out of 'Scream 6' over salary dispute: 'Did not equate to the value I have brought to the franchise'
Campbell has played Sidney Prescott in the 1996 "Scream" movie and all of its sequels.www.yahoo.com
At least it was hinted at with the "crazy" ones of the first two, mostly because Lillard and Olyphant always give performances like they're struggling to maintain whatever sense of sanity they may have. Fuck, even 3 might get a pass because, in that situation, I could see losing whatever grip you have.I could do without (this goes for all movies) the killer during the movie is just a regular ass person. Then revealed as the killer, and it’s all crazy voice, and wild expressions. Like they couldn’t contain themselves until now.
At this point it's just people trying to kill a middle aged woman based on something that happened to her in high school nearly 30 years ago. In part 5's case, before they were born. Are serial killers really that dedicated? Just go kill a bunch of people because you love stab, find someone else named Sidney in the phone book, and Sarah Connor her. Shit.
