I guess I'll check out their site since there are no stores.. but I really don't see the way I purchase changing at all tbh. There's no way the gov't will have near the quality as the dispensary I order from.

That seems to be the general consensus. There are also cities in Ontario passing council legislation that they think will somehow overrule the provincial mandate that the only places you can't smoke weed will be near schools, playgrounds and in vehicles.

I was at a wedding the other weekend and one of the items in in the gift bags for the bridal parties and groomsmen was a THC chocolate bar from a place in Montreal, I have a buddy that was legit surprised that you could buy this stuff this easily prior to legislation. The grey market has been around forever and it'll stay that way for a long time.

This whole fucking thing has been a disaster and a joke. Basically everyone in BC thinks we need to reform the system. But the ideas they came up with are awful. 2 of the 3 have never been tried anywhere in the world before.

On top of that there's no threshold for how many people need to participate, or agree for it to pass. 3.7% of the ballots have been returned. in 2005 61.5% of the voters took part, they tried again in 2009 and 55% took part (and that time people voted to keep the old system). It looks like people will vote to keep the old system this time too due to how awful the alternative choices are.

I think NDP lost their best hope when Jack Layton died. Mulclair was a terrible, terrible replacement. I don’t think Singh’s the guy to push the NDP back to where they were under Layton. He’s not terrible. I just don’t think he’s particularly impressive.
 
NDP lost it with Layton for sure. Layton would have been Prime Minister on the next go and I'm really sad it didn't happen. Trudeau has completely fucked things up with this idiotic scandal and should have stepped down. The only saving grace is that Scheer is one of the worst candidates the Conservatives could run against him and the possibility of some vote splitting because of Bernier.

I think the Liberals will hold on to a minority government as things stand now but I also don't count on them not fucking up more...or Scheer/Bernier going to a Klan rally.

Justin should thank the Lord every single night that Scheer is an unimpressive, bland, unremarkable waste of space - and even if he wasn't, this whole Bernier nonsense will probably split the "conservative" vote anyhow. And poor Jagmeet has proven on a couple of occasions that (so far at least) he's in way over his head as the leader of a federal party. This current Liberal shit-show should be a career-ender for just about anybody, but Justin can probably count on a healthy mix of public apathy and opposing incompetence to keep him in power.
 
The last time people voted PC to spite the Liberals Ontario got stuck with Doug Ford and hopefully he's done a good (bad?) enough job of demonstrating to them what a nation run by those chuds would look like.
