MAGA Chuds Storm Capitol Building to stop Electoral College vote

A consequence of the trying too hard to play the BOTH SIDES game. Here, CNN tries to give Trump credit for some kind of acumen, and try to get other people anxious, by suggesting his best strategy is what he's trying to do now: run out the clock. This, of course, is the worst strategy for Trump and his political party. It is why folks like McConnell are restarting some of their less-worshipful comments. Trying to run out the clock will mean that Jan 6, not the economy or the border or Afghanistan or anything else, will be at the forefront of the 2022 midterm elections.

A federal judge on Tuesday sided with the congressional committee investigating the Jan. 6 riot by refusing to block the release of scores of White House documents from the Trump administration.

The federal judge seemed wholly unimpressed with Team Trump's legal arguments, explaining in her ruling that the former president "does not acknowledge the deference owed to the incumbent President's judgment. His position that he may override the express will of the executive branch appears to be premised on the notion that his executive power 'exists in perpetuity.' But Presidents are not kings, and Plaintiff is not President."

Steve Bannon has turned himself into federal authorities for criminal contempt charges.

Hey hey. This week ain't off to a bad start.

Well...yeah. You don't find a whole lot of "salt of the earth" types that can afford to deck themselves out in perfect tacticool attire.

Airfare and hotels tend to be just out of reach for the working class and poor.

The Publix connection has been known for awhile now and has led to some acquaintances of mine to boycott Publix. That's ok, I'll still keep eating that garbage.

Until a few years ago, Publix wouldn't let their male employees have long hair or facial hair outside of a mustache and NONE of their employees could have visible tattoos. All that's allowed now but they were always owned by reactionary shitheads.

But my god, the subs....

Last few years have torn this country in and the cast of Bob’s Burgers apart.:(

The MN GOP is a bunch of real wankers to say the least. The former head chair of the MN GOP Jennifer Carnahan (who also is married to a real piece of shit, U.S. Rep Jim Hagadorn) had to resign a few months ago when situation upon situation and scandal upon scandal ensued, including fundraising schemes, connections with sex traffickers, and in general alot of personnel issues with staff claiming she was a bitch on wheels. Hagadorn is still dealing with his own scandals and conflicts of interest, etc. Hopefully he's next to go. I know he was very tight with Trump and I think in some ways, Trumps team was protecting him legally even when he was going through one issue after the next around here with conflicts of interest and also similarily to his wife, massive fundraising schemes.

The only shitstain I heard of that is running for governor that has really gotten any noteriety is a former doctor that is all in on covid misinformation, anti-vaxxx, etc. Scott Jensen is his name and honestly, I can't imagine any of these idiots will really gain prominance within the party around here long term. I think the guy who got booted as Senate majority leader is also running, its really pathetic all of these gaslit fools are on the same page with this shit. All it would take is one of them to speak against the grain and frankly, they would likely run away with the nomination. I'm of the thought that the majority of republicans in this state are not with these assholes, but then again who knows.

I'm honestly shocked Mr My Pillow idiot hasn't gotten in the hunt here.....probably in time sad to say!
