Jeffrey Epstein: Seed All Humans

Technically illegal. The best kind of illegal.

Even if someone bought their arguement... they are still all gross middle aged men.

The cult isn't doing well at all when after all this prep time the best defense they have is "well they weren't kids kids!"
Some of the takes have included conspiracy theories* (Benny Johnson) to "maybe he was working for the CIA" (Tim Pool). Probably grossest of all is Michael Tracey, who seems to think nothing happened and is living proof of that being a contrarian asshole should have its limits. Here's an article about him, and a Incandenza did a thread ripping on him

*Ironically, Alex Jones, who's whole career would feel like it has all been leading to this, is now just running defense for Trump. Just more proof most of these guys don't actually believe in anything they say.

The media is giving Trump's newest flipflop of "requesting Congress release the files" A LOT of attention. Of course, it's not Congress's prerogative. Still Trump's DOJ. Still his coverup. And the media continues to aid and abet him.

I don't know how more attention hasn't been given to the persistent "this won't pass the Senate" part that keeps appearing in articles about the story.

... and why wouldn't it, exactly? Senators feel insulated by their longer terms? No way they don't create their own furor by holding this up.

Oh wait, this is why Dear Leader suddenly encouraged House Republicans to vote for the release. The Senate has protected him during dire times before so why not now.

Appears to be a multi part "strategy" to keep covering up for Epstein, Trump, and child rape/trafficking. They tried the outright lie of "no files!" and that failed. He and the Feds tried preventing the discharge petition for months and that ultimately failed. Yes, I think it's safe to assume the next step is hoping enough senators stay soft enough to protect him and these crimes of the century. If it does eventually pass the Senate, after more wriggling and delays and lies and media assistance, Trump and his party will then gauge the vote tallies to see if he should veto. If the votes are close, he'll veto. If not, he might sign it with the knowledge that the files will have been scrubbed clean by then, maybe autopenning Biden's or Clinton's names into it, an effort ongoing since the spring of this year.

Oh wait, we keep forgetting:

Venezuela! Let's blow away some of their military and government buildings! What, the pedo thing didn't go away? Invade them!

That should take us through the midterms.

I think we're supposed to be cool with the boat bombings and all the ancillary etceteras until a Dem is back in office.

I expect him to pressure the senate to shoot it down, or they release something heavily redacted.

Pam "take the win" Bondi and fat fascist Kash must be about done doctoring the files in defense of the pedo president as Maj Leader Thune has suggested the Senate might vote as early as today.

So between the House and Senate there was 1 lone No vote, Louisiana rep Clay Higgins... this was his defense.

“As written, this bill reveals and injures thousands of innocent people – witnesses, people who provided alibis, family members, etc. If enacted in its current form, this type of broad reveal of criminal investigative files, released to a rabid media, will absolutely result in innocent people being hurt. Not by my vote,” Higgins continued.

The bill requires the Justice Department to release “all unclassified records, documents, communications, and investigative materials” regarding Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, his co-conspirator who is serving a 20-year prison sentence, within 30 days of becoming law, as well as disclose “Individuals, including government officials, named or referenced in connection with Epstein’s criminal activities, civil settlements, immunity or plea agreements, or investigatory proceedings.”

Any redactions, which must be explained to Congress, can also conceal child sexual abuse material, information about ongoing criminal cases and information that could harm national security.

I wonder if previously unclassified materials can be made so. At the most they've got a week and a half to delay by sitting on their hands and not signing it. After ten days it's automatically law.

No one's going to question how so much of a child trafficking ring was somehow tied to "national security."

I want pictures of Ghislane's puppy honestly. Even in the middle of this a cute puppy is still nice.

Thirty days to release the files is perfect for dropping it right as the collective media starts taking 2-3 weeks off. Same with the October jobs report not being released until "mid-December." All the bad news can just vanish into the ether of people being occupied by the holidays.

Good thing there's the Epstein fanatics online who'll pore through that shit though and share on Twitter/BlueSky/Facebook.

Yeah the timing doesn’t matter as people will look through and share what they find. The issue to me is that a lot of it will be redacted.

It doesn't matter when the release it at all yeah. This isn't going away. That should be obvious from how this has gone on for literally years now.

Police are being sent to guard the storage facility for the files.

The Epstein files—the government’s data and physical evidence related to the Epstein investigation—have everyone all fired up, including Epstein’s brother, Mark. On Tuesday, right before the House and Senate passed a bill to compel the Department of Justice to release the cache, Mark Epstein claimed in an interview with NewsNation that the head of the FBI, Kash Patel, was leading a “coverup” of the Epstein files. He added that a “pretty good source” told him the files were being scrubbed of any “Republican names” in “Winchester”—the Virginia city where the FBI’s main records-processing facility is located.

There’s no evidence to back up any of Mark Epstein’s allegations. But his remarks were shared in a Reddit post that day that led a handful of commenters to suggest if the files are being sanitized then perhaps people should protest outside of the bureau’s Winchester building, known as the Central Records Complex, where the Epstein files were processed earlier this year and are stored. Another commenter asked “at what point do we go from protesting to the next logical progression?” Elsewhere on social media, some people suggested that they should go and get the Epstein files themselves.
According to two people familiar with the FBI’s operations who requested anonymity because they are not authorized to speak with the media, the bureau interpreted the comments as potentially threatening and took action. The FBI sent its uniformed police officers to the Central Records Complex to guard the facility. The officers, who normally patrol the FBI’s headquarters in Washington, were also assigned to protect top officials and staff at the Virginia facility, the people familiar said.
For years, the polarizing political climate has led to serious threats against the FBI as well as federal judges and, as my colleagues and I recently reported, personnel at the Federal Emergency Management Agency. The comments on Reddit don’t rise to that level but the FBI clearly isn’t taking chances.
An FBI spokesperson did not respond to a request for comment.
