ICE Thugs and the Immigration Crisis

Not enough (only all will be enough) but 700 ice weenies being withdrawn, "effective immediately," is a good start. Cut and run now and, as soon humans are back in power, each 'officer' must be held accountable along with their Federal moms and dads. These 700, and hopefully all to come, will also presumably not be getting that 50k bonus, etc, now either.

This is being done so Dems step back demands in the ICE funding/masks etc As soon as the D's bend over again, the shock troops return
 
We're focused on the present and helping our fellows right now. We're looking to the future and how we might alleviate the generational trauma being imposed on human life by the Feds. This is not the time, at least for those of us on the ground and impacted by this hellish siege, to worry about what happened in the 60s or whatever.

'Prosecute ICE' sculpture destroyed outside State Capitol hours after unveiling

The sculpture was installed by members of a veterans organization and other community leaders in protest of federal immigration operations.

Jake Lang returned to the Twin Cities this week. He's the gop brat who, at the height of the nazi invasion up here, had a bad time when he tried having a cosplay counterrally & was sent scurrying by a volley of water balloons. Yesterday, he vandalized a "prosecute ice" sculpture outside the Capitol. He's been arrested by Ramsey County on felony charges. Maybe this will provide meaningful consequence as the gop can't pardon him like for Jan 6.

And he replicated his Grindr profile pic for the mug shot.

Yes, and that shows how remarkable even incremental wins are during this. While national leadership has been awful, there have been some good things done at local and state (may or may not be 50/50) levels, but most of the credit goes to the combined efforts of random people.
 
In the midst of that murder, they very nearly shot children inside the home too.
 
Tsar Homan, in an ongoing press conference, says that Operation Metro Surge, this nazi thing in Minnesota, is ending. I hope that's true.
 
We're remaining very cautiously optimistic. Continuing to observe, rally, track, train, etc. These efforts are ongoing and, while not at the same level as the biggest government in the history of the world, advancing technologically as well, advancing communication, safety, etc.

There is also, as all that continues, increasing efforts and planning for how to combat all this, how to teach and build resiliency and overcome this generational trauma imposed by the federal govt and the one political party that a country chose to give full power to.

You may have heard/seen St Peter in the news. That's been the sight of many Fed activities including boxing in a woman in her car and then kidnapping her at gunpoint (the city police chief eventually got her back). Was also the town I was on my way to last September when rearended by a semi on the highway. I'm teaching the only writing class in that city this summer, "How to Write a Brautigan." I've made this program to create stories and poems, humorous and imaginative, deceptively simple with salted whimsy, like Richard Brautigan in the 60s and 70s. It will hopefully be the kind of thing to lean into during this time.
 
The republicans are, again, trying to withhold a quarter billion $ from Minnesota in retaliation for their colossal, expensive failure here.
