Charlie Kirk Shot

I think it's a fair argument for people who either dont know Kirk or aren't super familiar with him to actually watch some of his stuff in full and not cherry pick clips on social media to avoid the whole "taken out of context" talking point. An example is the video where he describes gun deaths as an unfortunate byproduct of the 2nd amendment. All that's being shared is the 9 second clip but the full video is actually so much worse!

By my Senior year of post-Army college I was ripping TPUSA fliers off the bulletin boards in my classes' buildings. It had gone from me seeing something here and there and going "that's... simple logic to manipulate people" to "oh wow, you're not even trying to hide it."

One day in late 2017, on the school's central green space, I see some college kids planting flags in the ground. These are like, small, electrical worker type flags. They're all red, and a LOT have been planted all over the place.

Well I'm always curious to a fault, so I go ask one of them what they're doing. Not like, mad, just wondering in a genuine fashion.

"Each of these flags represents 80,000 people killed by Socialism."

Now I see someone planting a TPUSA yard sign. Yup. Here's where we are.

The guy asks if I had any questions about their installation as he realized I hadn't said much and was just examining the scene. I just asked him to say that again as I feigned being distracted by something.

"Each of these flags represents 80,000 people killed by Socialism."

"Cool, we're done here," I very quickly said, and walked away.

Not sure if this added anything but fuck anyone who turned budding young minds into such robots.

The sheer and blatant hypocrisy shouldn't be that surprising but still... god damn. I do love that they are legitimately stating they are being hypocritical and simply don't give a fuck while Dems try to placate them and not have people getting fired because they thought Charlie Kirk was a shit human being.

Gutfeld immediately lost his temper when Tarlov raised the assassination of the Hortmans.

“You wanna talk about Melissa Hortman?” he shouted at her. “Did you know her name before it happened? None of us did. None of us were spending every single day talking about Mrs Hortman – I never heard of her until after she died.”

“So, it doesn’t matter?” Tarlov asked.

“Don’t play that bulls*** with me!” Gutfeld yelled in response. “You know what I’m talking… What I’m saying is there was no demonization, amplification about that woman before she died. It was a specific crime against her by somebody who knew her.” Note: Belief is the killer didn't know her and had a list of other targets including those who were pro-abortion.

The fact of the matter is, the ‘both sides’ argument not only doesn’t fly, but we don’t care. We don’t care about your ‘both sides’ argument. That s*** is dead. For one thing, there’s no cognitive dissonance on our side. On your side, your beliefs do not match reality. So, you’re coming up with these rationalizations like “What about this?” Or “What about that?”

Those read like the subtitles of the jive speak from Airplane.

“Don’t be so naive, Arthur. Each of us faces a clear moral choice.”

This whole episode has once again made me want to bash my head against a brick wall until I can be as stupid/craven/selfish/whatever as these motherfuckers.

Where has the clergy been during this? Just gonna let opportunists take up the message that was supposed to be yours?

Well it was Sinclair who did that thing years ago where they forced all of their channels to recite a right wing manifesto. Not a shock unfortunately.
